SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination 2012 / CGLE 2012

Combined Graduate Level Examination 2012 by SSC : 

Staff Selection Commission ( SSC) is going to organize Combined Graduate Level Examination 2012 (CGLE) on 01.07.2012 and 08.07.2012 for the recruitment to different posts. Therefore, it is inviting applications from the eligible and desirous candidates through online and offline mode on or before 20.04.2012. Candidates who will fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply using suitable way. More details about this examination is given below.

Details of Combined Graduate Level Examination 2012 : - 

Last date of online registration - 17.04.2012 ( for Part- I registration ) and 20.04.2012 ( for Part – II registration )

Examination date – 01.07.2012 and 08.07.2012

Name of the post – Group B and Group C

Group B – Assistant,  Inspector, Inspector of posts, Statistical Investigator Gr. II

Group C – Inspector of Income Tax, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Sub Inspectors, Divisional Accountant, Auditor, Accountant / Junior Accountant, Upper Division Clerk, Tax Assistant and Compiler.

Pay Scale - 

i. Group B – Rs. 9300 – 34800 with Grade pay of Rs. 5400, Rs. 4800, Rs. 4600 and Rs. 4600 /- per month

ii. Group C – Rs. 5200 – 20200 with grade pay of Rs. 2800, Rs. 2400, Rs. 2000, Rs. 1900 and Rs. 1800 /- per month

Age limit as on 01.01.2012 : - 

i. Between 18 – 27 years -  for Inspector of Income Tax, Inspector, Inspector of Posts, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Compiler, Divisional Accountant, Auditors, UDC, Tax Assistants and Junior Accountant.

ii. Not exceed than 26 years – for Statistical Investigator Gr. II

iii. Between 20 – 27 years - for Assistant, Sub Inspector in CBI

Relaxation in age – OBC by 3 years and SC/ST by 5 years will be relaxed and other as per rule of government.

Educational Qualification

i. Compiler – Graduation with Economics / Statistics / Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject from any recognized university

ii. Statistical Investigator Grade – II - Bachelor degree  with Statistics as one of the main subjects. or Graduation with Mathematics / Economics / Commerce as main subjects and have studied Statistics as a paper from any recognized university.

iii. Remaining all posts - Graduation in any discipline from any recognized university.

Note – Appearing candidates in Graduation can also apply

Application fee – Rs. 100/- ( Candidates belonging to category SC / ST / PH / Ex / Women are exempted from paying application fee )

i. Offline - Candidates applying offline are required to pay prescribed application fee through CRFS ( Central Recruitment Fee Stamps ). It will available at all department post offices of the country.

ii. Online – Applicants applying online can pay application fee by SBI Challan / online account with SBI.

Selection procedure - Applicants who will qualify combined graduate level examination ( Tier – I and Tier – II ) , Personality Test / Interview and Skill Test will be selected for respective posts.

Physical Standards - 

i. Inspector -

Male – Height – 157.5, Chest – 81 cms, Walking – 1600 meters in 15 minutes and Cycling 8 kms in 30 minutes.

Female – Height – 152 cm , Weight – 48 kg, Walking – 1 km in 20 minutes and 3 km in 25 minutes.

ii. Sub Inspector in CBI

Male – Height – 165 cm and Chest – 76 cm

Female – Height – 150 cm
